I feel very fortunate to have chosen Quan to replace our hot water tank and heating boiler system. Anthony and Isaiah did an outstanding job. The overall system design is impressive, and the installation of all pipes, valves, and components is flawless and fully up to code. They followed the schedule exactly and arrived on site on time every day. Anthony is a true professional—serious about his work, highly dedicated, and detail-oriented. They worked incredibly hard to complete the entire project in just two days, even staying late until 10 PM to get everything done. My parents’ toilet was replaced mid-March but they discovered a crack in April. They scheduled Anthony to come inspect it without delay. Anthony arranged for it to be replaced the next day at zero cost as it was covered under warranty. We offered him a little coffee money, but he refused even though his company would have to pay for the replacement unit and for extra labour and travel time. If I had gone with another plumber, I would expect a lot of excuses with this type of rare occurrence, but Anthony and Sophia handled that professionally and seamlessly. Since I live in another province and happened to be in town when this happened, it gave me a lot of peace that my elderly parents didn’t have to deal with this. Thankful for this company’s care and service!

Sophia was wonderful in answering my phone enquiry. She was patient, friendly, thorough, and efficient! Anthony was professional, arrived within the scheduled time frame, and gave me a heads up when he was on his way. He replaced the cracked toilet in the guest bathroom, and when I asked him to check the one in the master ensuite, he discovered a crack there too. He was able to replace that one, even though it was unplanned, on the same day. This was a replacement at a strata which required insurance and WorkSafeBC credentials besides him being a licensed plumber. The toilet was over 30 years old and the lead flange could have been a problem, but he seemed to have handled it properly. Today is the first day! We are happy with the crispy flushing sound. He may not be the cheapest in town but the service is superb. 👍👍 Since they supplied both material and labour with a one-year warranty, it’s a lot of peace of mind for me, who lives out of province, to help my elderly parents with this repair. For anyone looking for an English/Cantonese speaking residential plumber for stratas, I recommend Quan Plumbing!

Finally, every problem in the kitchen and bathroom is resolved, and things are functioning properly!! The kitchen sink drainage is no longer clogged anymore, and we can actually use the double sink now. As for the bathroom toilet, there is no more excess water flowing into the bowl. Anthony replaced a new toilet fill valve too. The bathroom sink faucet has a better water flow as well. Anthony was able to finish the job within 90 minutes. We are glad we called Quan Plumbing and I would recommend them.

Our house didn't have enough hot water during the winter and was thinking of changing our water tank to the tankless ones. I asked Anthony to come over to quote on a tankless heater and he noticed our water pressure was too high and was causing water issue thru out the house. The main water pressure valve was broken. I have used this company twice. The service is outstanding. The contractor is highly communicative. I receive notification once the booking is scheduled. I also receive an on-the-day reminder when the contractor is going to arrive. If there are any delays, I receive communication at least 2 hours prior so I can make other arrangements. The documentation with photos is detailed. The invoice is itemized, organized, and clear. The work itself is with quality. If the problem requires a part, the contractor will always ask for permission before going ahead. The two-way communication is highly valuable. I was kept in the loop every step of the way. I was shared some useful tips on how to maintain my showers and sinks. The contractor left the place clean after the repair. I have nothing but wonderful words for this business. Anthony had resolved a very stubborn clogged drainage pipe issue at my home! He's professional and very customer-focused. Prior to coming inside the house, he already had the blue booties in hand so as not to soil the floors. He performed a site inspection, explained how he was going to fix the issue, and then promptly went to work in the laundry room. After clearing this clog somewhere deep in the drainage pipe, he then tested for adequate drainage to ensure a proper water flow. He's now my go-to plumber for any future service or maintenance work!

Anthony just came by and helped me fix the leak on my hot water tank. I called him at 9:00 AM, and he was at my place an hour later diagnosing the issue. Anthony took the time to explain the diagnosis and provided a solution with a quote immediately. We scheduled a follow-up appointment 2 days later. While he was here, he gladly answered some unrelated issues I was having with my water pressure. On the scheduled day of the repair, he arrived exactly at the scheduled time. He repaired the leak and also took the time to explain how my plumbing system worked. Anthony also told me to message him in a couple of hours just to ensure everything was running smoothly. He took care in replacing our old water tank, making sure everything was done properly and not to damage any of our walls and HVAC components, since our mechanical room was very tight. The supplier had supplied a cosmetically damaged tank to Anthony. Normally, because it is only cosmetic, I've seen some plumbers still go ahead with the install, saving themselves a trip to exchange the tank. But Anthony went right back to get a new one and made sure the entire install was done cleanly as well. Very happy with the install and service.
